The first edit is symbolism, and in this shot, there is a clip of the Avengers shown before cutting to the Marco Island Fire Department, who are our local heroes. Then, there is the parallelism sot, which is a student holding a calculator, which cuts to the same student playing a game on their phone. The contrast scene starts off with a classroom scene of people working, then cuts to girls on the swim team being goofy before practice. In the simultaneity shot, there is the girls in the bathroom waiting to go out for practice, which cuts to people actually about to get into the pool for practice. Then in leitmotif, I am sitting in the car while the song "Country Roads" is playing in the background.
Mia's shot:  I liked your point of view shot because you couldn't tell if you were running to hug her or start a fight with her, so that was an exciting shot to watch. The follow shot was also one I liked because it made you feel like you were going wherever she was, and gave me a sense of adventure. Finally, I liked I liked the extreme close-up shot because it make me feel like I had a personal connection with her.  Isaiah's shot: I liked your reaction shot, she really captured the feeling of excitement when she saw what was around the corner.  I also liked the extreme long shot, it felt like it was the ending to a movie where the character is going into her future. Finally, I liked the pan shot, it felt very rebellious to just rip of your ID when the sign said not to.

This is an important shot of the opening scene because it helps create the character of Elle Woods who is portrayed as the typical dumb blonde, when she is actually someone who everyone underestimates but proves herself by never giving up on her dreams. In this high angle shot in the opening scene, one of the sorority sisters is heading up the stairs to pass around a congratulations card that all the sorority sisters are signing to giver to the sorority president Elle Woods.  This is a point of view shot from the main character Elle Woods. In this scene Elle and her two best friends are shopping for the prefect dress that Elle is going to wear on her big date, w...
