Our group decided that Emma would be the main person editing our project. This clip that is being edited is one of the beginning scenes in our opening. We also decided on which transitions to use during this week.

The desert in Afghanistan with military vehicles are rolling through, and Tony Stark is in one of them holding a glass of liquor, as he is having a conversation with the soldiers in the vehicle, there is then an ambush on the vehicles. What connotations do the images carry? These images are important because in this ambush is where Tony gets injured and it's how his journey to becoming Iron Man starts. How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? The opening scene is more action than sci-fi but that scene sets the whole plot.
